Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operative for the AM shift. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, including placing parcels on a line from a trailer, loading a trailer and manually sorting through parcels according to correct postal code. You will need to maintain a clean and organized workspace, while also adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be capable of lifting heavy items as required. This is a contract position with competitive pay rates.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed
