The Recruitment Crowd Go Outrageously Orange for Cancer

By Anush Pervez

For one day only, The Recruitment Crowd put their branding to the side and went full ORANGE for the day.

Go Outrageously Orange is a day dedicated to raising money and awareness for Maggie’s, a cancer charity supporting people through the stress of a cancer diagnosis.

There are countless ways to get involved, however Maggie’s suggested that workplaces wear orange clothing either in the office or during their zoom meetings while working from home.

Here at The Recruitment Crowd, we came into the office wearing our best orange outfits and dressed the office with orange decorations.

Maggie Keswick Jenks lived with advanced cancer for two years and was determined that she would not ‘lose the joy of living in the fear of dying.’

She believed that people living with cancer require a certain amount of information, stress-reducing strategies and psychological support in order to hold on to a little positivity.

That’s why Maggie’s have chosen such a bright and positive colour, so that we can all get together as friends and colleagues to spread some positivity and raise money for such a worthy cause.

Maggie’s is a charity that we work with regularly and we already can’t wait for the next opportunity to raise some money for them. Stayed tuned on our social media channels to find out how much we raised as a company.
