Store Manager

The Recruitment Crowd have recently partnered with a market-leading retailer based in Southhampton (SO14). We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to join the team.

Hours: 5 days per week (Saturdays will be included), 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: £28,000 TO £30,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

  • Providing training and fostering the growth of retail team members
  • Collaborating with senior executives to boost sales and enhance store quality
  • Taking responsibility for minimizing loss due to theft or damage
  • Managing back-office tasks and administrative duties
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements, including health and safety regulations
  • Handling cash deposits and banking procedures
  • Cultivating a positive atmosphere for both employees and customers
  • Enforcing visual merchandising and restocking guidelines
  • Implementing measures to prevent losses

Requirements

  • Ideally possess managerial experience with another value retailer
  • Demonstrate the ability to establish an outstanding work and shopping atmosphere
  • Have a proven history of working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting
  • Showcase exceptional customer service abilities
