The Company
Our client is now the fastest growing chilled foods business across the North and the Midlands. In line with current and future aggressive growth plans the business are now recruiting for a Commercial sales Manager to work alongside the MD in driving Sales through the Commercial Team.
The Role
- You will be selling chilled and ambient products into the Education sector and Foodservice End Users
- Achieving growth in the business, setting new selling standards.
- Ensuring the sales team are achieving their targets as individuals and a team.
- Setting objectives for the team as well as targets, and coaching and performance management.
- Support and training of dynamic sales professionals.
- Building and maintaining long-lasting go-to client relationships, working with them to ensure all needs are met by the business.
- Working closely with the senior management team to deliver company performance and objectives.
- Hit personal and team wide targets and KPI’s
- Manage and assign KPI’s for the sales team

The Candidate
- Experience within Sales
- Some level of leadership experience
- This role requires a high level of interpersonal skills and a variety of sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills, these must apply at all levels within the customers business.
- It is not essential but would be preferable that the candidate has gained experience within the food industry.
- Much of the work will be carried out on a remote/hybrid basis however the right candidate will be flexible in their working arrangements, the job will involve long and sometimes unsociable hours and will require flexibility, commitment, and good organisational skills.
- The jobholder will be required to visit and represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions and conferences, networking with representatives from a broad range of companies as requested by the head of department.
- You must have excellent organisational skills
- The role requires a fast thinker who can hit the ground from day one.
