We are currently recruiting for an HR Advisor to join a well established Food Production company based in Barnsley.
The Role: To work closely with the Head of HR at an operational level to manage, administer and apply the day-to-day operational HR function and to support the Head of HR to ensure efficient delivery of strategies across the business.

The Candidate: · Experience as an HR Advisor within the FMCG sector. · CIPD qualified- Level 5 or above · Minimum 5 years of operational working within a HR Department, preferably within a professional services firm. · Substantial experience in running/managing internal disciplinary and grievance procedures including, but not limited to, undertaking formal disciplinary/grievance investigations. · Excellent knowledge of employment law and be familiar with usual HR policies, and the application of those policies in practice. · Proactive when dealing with staff and partners and in the operation of HR policies · Demonstrate high levels of integrity and lead by example · Have a sense of humour! · You must live within a commutable distance of Barnsley
