TRC Group are currently supporting a renowned food manufacturing business, with the recruitment of a tactile and methodical Continuous Improvement Manager.

The role will be responsible identifying and implementing operational continuous improvements, reporting into the Site Director.

The Role:

  • Coordinating site activities in relation to lean transformation
  • Delivering results for site improvements
  • Acting as a key influencer for decision making, implementing effective CI practices
  • Coordinating the development and activities for lean strategy, ensuring smooth implementation throughout the site
  • Utilising practical problem-solving skills such as root cause analysis
  • Identifying waste within the site production process
  • Developing standard work applications
  • Ensuring equipment productivity, maximising OEE Introducing autonomous maintenance strategies
  • Providing updated training around new procedures and strategies
  • Working closely with training coordinators to develop new training plans.
  • Facilitate standardisation procedures for machinery, working methods, training, and lean manufacturing principles.


  • You will be an experienced CI Coordinator, with a background in FMCG or food production.
  • You will display strong knowledge and understanding around lean manufacturing and coaching.
  • You will have experience introducing lean manufacturing to businesses.
  • Has excellent communication and relationship building capabilities.
  • Will demonstrate a drive and passion for change.
  • Possesses a strategic mindset, with the ability to produce creative results.
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and work under pressure to deliver on objectives.
  • Ability to assess and identify areas for improvement.
  • You will have a strong understanding of lean tools.
  • Experience working in a GMP (Good manufacturing practice) environment.
  • Have a formal CI qualification and/or training in this area.
  • Level 3 or equivalent in food safety
Additional Information:

This is a permanent position working 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility will be required outside of core hours. 33 days holiday.
