My highly reputable client within the public sector, are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts officer for their office in Bolton.
The hours of work are Monday – Friday (37.5 hours a week)
What we are looking for:
A strong understanding of procurement and commissioning in the public sector and how this works
The ability to co-ordinate a high volume of contracts and frameworks along with monitoring refresh openings and future opportunities.
Strong IT and administrative skills, with good attention to detail of data inputting, data collation and analysis.
Possess creating thinking and writing skills. A strong and persuasive writing style to be able to sell on paper to support with tender writing applications.
Manage all post bid reviews and post contract awards.
To manage the busy commercial team inbox, supporting communication with various business department leads.
Complete tender and opportunity searches via portals.
Researching new business opportunities/frameworks/projects within the public sector
Develop and maintain a library of tender document templates, liaising with subject matter experts.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and be a highly networked individual within the business.
This role will report into the commercial director and head of customer engagement and will be a highly supportive role across the group.
In order to be considered for this role I am looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, who has the ability to liaise across internal and external stakeholder level to ensure that all admin duties are completed to a high standard.
In return my client is offering an annual salary of £23,000 - £25,000 depending upon experience, 20 days holiday + stats, pension contribution and career progression.
