C#, ASP.Net/MVC/Core Developer
Here we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ASP.Net Webforms developer to join a small software house in Harrogate, as they embark on an ambitious project to rewrite their entire product suite.
What can you expect from your new employer….?
- an informal work environment,
- in a beautiful town,
- a small, sociable team of software developers,
- a (very chilled) office dog,
- a collaborative approach to solving problems
- an open minded senior management team (all from engineering/programming backgrounds)
- An occasional after work beer.
What can you expect from the role….?
This role will see you supporting customers on the current version of their flag ship product, whilst building new functionality on the new version and the rest of their suite.
The new version is being built with a contemporary tech stack and approach in mind, and full training in any unfamiliar tech will be given, making this a fantastic opportunity for anybody looking to build on existing Webforms skills, or anybody with split Webforms/MVC experience, looking for an opportunity to use both and get stuck into some .Net Core projects.
The other products in their suite utilise a similar stack – Azure/.Net Core/Vue.
What do they need from you….?
To be considered for the role we need to see experience in:
- Net Webforms
- SQL Server/T-SQL
- Responsive UI
Any experience of the following would be an advantage;
- .Net Core
- React, Vue, or similar
- Entity Framework
In addition to the technical skills, they need people who are easy to engage with, happy to learn and forthcoming with their knowledge and experience. This is an experienced team, with a lot of programming years between them, embarking on a very ambitious ground up rewrite, so need people who will get involved and contribute.
What will they pay you….?
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary of £40-50,000, plus benefits (including 25 days’ holiday, childcare vouchers and company pension).
