TRC have the pleasure of working with a growing and successful business on the outskirts of York City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People Manager. Ideally the successful candidate will have some knowledge of either Accounts Payable / Receivable. However, this is not essential. You must have a proven track record of successfully managing people.
The role
- Oversee 6 members of staff and report into the General Manager
- Lead by example and organise and assist the team on a day to day basis
- Review and verify invoices and check requests
- Enter and upload invoices into system
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts transactions
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date to the purchase ledger
- Assist with month end closing
The candidate
- Ideally knowledgable of Accounts Payable / Receivable
- 2 years experience in a Team Leader position
- Strong knowledge of accounting software
