Vending Sales Manager – FMCG

£35,000 - £40,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + Car or Car Allowance + Mobile + Laptop + 25 days Hols + BH’s


The Company

My client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking, entrepreneurial, multi-faceted business within the Catering/FM/Vending sectors. The company has big plans for growth over the next 3-5 years. We are currently recruiting for the brand new role of Vending Sales Manager to take full autonomy of the Vending Channel. This would be an excellent opportunity for an individual with 2-4 years of Vending Sales experience, ideally within the FMCG sector, who are looking for a step up in their career and someone who is excited and ambitious enough to grow a team and head up the Vending Division as the ‘expert’ within the company.


The Role

As a Vending Sales Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Selling Vending Machines and the Services which go along within them into the Foodservice End User at Head Office and Unit level
  • Devising marketing plans, advertising plans, promotional plans
  • Presenting at Head Office level
  • 20% of your role will be based on Existing Business and 80% on New Business Development
  • Upselling in existing Business
  • Exploring and aggressively developing new business
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to drive sales
  • Full P&L responsibility for the accounts which come under your remit
  • Recruiting further salespeople into the division and training, developing and managing new recruits
  • Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the business’ goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability


The Candidate

  • You MUST have 2-4 years Vending Sales experience within the FMCG sector
  • You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge and not running away from something
  • You must be a ‘go-getter’ a real HUNTER
  • You will have the ambitions and desire to build a team and drive a channel as your own
  • You must be tenacious, driven and willing to apply the work ethic required to be successful
  • You will be incredibly driven and have the desire to work in a people-centric environment – you put in the hard work, you will get the support and rewards in return
  • You must have an understanding of P&L
  • You will live in the North of the country with the ability to commute near Leeds once a week
  • You must have experience at presenting at Head Office level and understand the planning which goes towards this
  • All candidates must have a genuine passion for the industry
