Internal Sales Executive

£20,000 - £23,000 Basic + Excellent Commission Structure (OTE £40k)

The Company

My client is a well-established company based in South Manchester who are now looking to develop a new outbound sales team, responsible for making appointments for their regionalised BDM team and closing sales over the phone when necessary.

The Role

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Contacting businesses to generate appointments and educate them on products and services
  • Convert sales leads provided by the business
  • Use relevant questioning to understand customer requirements and close new sales
  • Direct new business prospects to the BDM sales team
  • Enter/Update CRM database
  • Liaise with internal teams
  • Understand customer profiling on existing customer database
  • Go above and beyond to meet targets
  • Identify decision makers and understand market trends

The Candidate

  • The candidate should have proven experience in new business sales or other sales roles
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets
  • Ability to learn new products/services and ability to explain to prospects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle rejection
  • Negotiation skills
  • Ability to convert business in a highly competitive marketplace
