Service Manager - Lifting Equipment - Midlands

Are you currently working in a Service Manager, Depot Manager or Operations Manager role?
Are you responsible for a service team inclusive of P&L control?
Do you have extensive exposure to lifting equipment or similar heavy electro-mechanical equipment?
Our client is a major manufacturer of lifting equipment with a premium product range and a global presence they are a genuine market leader.
They are currently looking to add to their team and are looking to recruit a highly experienced Service Manager to oversee their Midlands service operation.
Reporting to the Depot Manager and responsible for the day to day management of a team in excess of 45 heads and for the management and ongoing commercial development of the operation, inclusive of P&L, our client is looking for an individual able to deliver exceptional results.
Exposure to managing field based Service Engineers is essential as is the commercial acumen required to drive a successful service operation in a multi-national business.
Experience gained in a similar role within the lifting equipment sector is preferred however our client welcomes applicants with exposure to other heavy equipment backgrounds, on condition the individuals in question have an understanding of LOLER/PUWER etc and have a highly developed knowledge of heath and safety legislation in this area.
Our client is offering a solid package comprising of a basic salary to £48000 plus bonus, car/car allowance & pension.
