The Exciting Opportunity
The position of Room Assistant has become available with one of TRC's biggest and most reputable clients. Reporting into the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are immaculate so attention to details is vital. The successful applicant for this role will deliver excellent customer service, have a positive 'can do' attitude, be willing to learn and show that they care.
Where Will You Be Working?
Our client is located in the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside, just half an hour's drive from the historic city of York. Set in 120 acres of beautiful grounds, this is the perfect hotel for a leisure break, featuring: a renowned 18 hole golf course, excellent conference facilities that can hold up to 200 delegates at any one time, a Rosette rated restaurant and modern leisure and spa facilities. Although this is one of the smaller properties within our portfolio, with 53 bedrooms, our friendly team always ensure that guests receive a big welcome. We pride ourselves on investing in our people and delivering outstanding customer service.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who can;
- To clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to consistently meet our clients high standards
- To maintain stock levels on your service trolley
- Ensuring doors to occupied rooms are never left unsecured
- Never allowing a guest access to individual rooms without first establishing their right to be in the room
Experience working in a similar position is preferable but full training is provided.
