National Account Manager - Drinks

£50,000 - £65,000 Basic + 

Bonus + Car Allowance + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + Private Healthcare

 

The Company

My client is one of the market-leading companies of its kind within the UK. They supply drinks into the on-trade sector. In line with aggressive growth plans, we are looking for Account Managers to cover areas across London

 

The Role

As a National Account Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Selling Food and Drink into Foodservice End Users at Head Office level
  • Devising marketing plans, advertising plans, promotional plans
  • Presenting at Head Office level
  • 50% of your role will be based on Existing Business and 50% on New Business Development
  • Upselling in existing Business
  • Exploring and aggressively developing new business
  • Working closely with the Sales Controller to drive sales
  • Full P&L responsibility for the accounts which come under your remit
  • Hitting your individual objectives whilst equally contributing to the team’s goals and targets in terms of revenue and profitability

 

The Candidate

  • You MUST have experience within fast-paced Field Sales – in FMCG selling into the On-Trade sector
  • Ideally, you will be WSET trained but this is not essential as market-leading training will be given
  • You will be looking to move forward to a new challenge and not running away from something
  • You must have a genuine passion for the industry
  • You will have fantastic relationship building skills
  • You must be tenacious and willing to apply the work ethic required to be successful
  • You will be incredibly driven and have the desire to work in a people-centric environment – you put in the hard work, you will get the support and rewards in return
