Monitoring technician

WF13 Dewsbury

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £21,000.00 to £26,000.00 /year

 

 

About the role

The role of monitoring technician focusses on the preparation, installation, and commission of monitoring schemes and equipment on site of our ever-growing customer market throughout the UK

 

Daily Duties:

  • Contributing to the production of safe systems of work, installation procedures, and installation drawing.
  • Carrying out testing, calibration, and maintenance of all monitoring equipment ensuring that timely and accurate records are maintained by the monitoring department
  • Ensuring installations are carried out within the proposed programme of works
  • Working on sites installing and commissioning systems
  • Effectively communicating with colleagues during the delivery of projects
  • Ensuring written procedures are implemented on site
  • Create accurate picking kists for each scheme
  • Contributing to development projects and innovation within the team
  • Ensuring provision and maintenance of high-level service in all areas
  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Attending site meetings

 

About You

You'll need to be a logical thinker with strong commercial acumen and a focus on customer service. We are keen to speak to people with the following:

  • An electrical or electronic background
  • Strong panel wiring and cabling skills combined with the ability to use hand and power tools
  • Ideally an electrical/electronic NVQ3 Qualification
  • Previous experience of electrical/electronics in a construction environment would be advantageous
  • Clean driving license
