Business Development Manager  

-FMCG Retail/Wholesale

£50,000 + Bonus + Car/Car Allowance + Pension + 20 Days Hols + BHs

The Company

My client is an ambitious, fledgling FMCG company specialising within the Health Food sector. The role we are recruiting for is a Business Development Manager to play an integral part to the aggressive growth plans in place.

 

The Role

  • 80% of your role will be prospecting and developing new business initiatives, thereafter you will be responsible for managing and developing the accounts you bring onboard
  • 20% of your role will be managing existing accounts, however, this is a 360 role, therefore, you will be managing accounts you bring also to begin with (until the team grows)
  • To achieve targets set by the Director
  • To provide excellent levels of customer service and account management
  • To work closely with your colleagues to deliver Company targets
  • To encourage positive relationships across functions

 

The Candidate

  • You MUST come with strong FMCG Sales experience selling into the Retail and Wholesale marketplaces
  • You will ideally come with a food background
  • You MUST be a ‘hunter’ with a natural drive to win and succeed
  • You will be a ‘go-getter’ who thinks outside the box
  • You will have an entrepreneurial flair
  • You MUST be experienced within account management and your main skill must lie within relationship building
  • You will be dynamic, ambitious, driven and hungry for success
  • You will live within London or the South East of England
