Job Description

Job title: Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Regional Sales Manager

We have developed our own aqueous based solution that extinguishes fires with absolutely no chance of re-ignition, it can extinguish ALL FIRES with a single liquid, so no need for CO2, Foam, Water etc. It is made from natural ingredients, so environmentally friendly, nontoxic and biodegradable.

In addition to extinguishing the Fire it cools the Fire to hand touch, and, at the same time it can extinguish in a fraction of the time of standard extinguishing media.

To bring this to life, if you had a car on fire in a blaze it would take between 1-3 Fire engines (each have 7 Fire fighters on board), 1 Policeman (and Police car), 1,800 litres of water (or 1,800 litres of water and 200 litres of foam if petrol exists) and 45 minutes to an hour to stop the fire with no re-ignition.

In comparison, a second car also in a blaze like for like, it would take one person, 9 litres of our liquid to extinguish it in less than a minute. This also clearly means less mess, and less damage. As only ONE liquid is needed to extinguish any Fire this negates the strong likelihood of using the wrong extinguisher on the wrong fire which can have disastrous consequences.

Job Summary / Responsibilities

To sell across 3 routes to markets:- 1. Multiple large Retail Resellers/Wholesalers. 2. Traditional Distribution via Fire and Security Service Providers. 3. Direct into Central/Local Government, Large FM, Large Construction and other organisations such as Rail and Vehicle Manufacturing.

To actively sell into Fire and Security Service Providers and Fire Brigade within a defined goegraphical area through the sale of our defined solution portfolio - short sales cycle.

Long sales cycle - To actively acquire and manage opportunities within Large Retail and our Direct routes to market through opportunity stage management though to close.

Critical to success will be the candidate's ability to excel in both short and long sales cycles effectively managing pipeline opportunity to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual sales margin targets are achieved. Compliance to company pricing rules will be expected at all times

The BDM will need to engage with Prospects and Customers quickly, building trust via professional articulation of the value of FIREXO products and services. The BDM will need good negotiation skills and is expected to drive the sales process proactively, taking each prospect/lead to a formal outcome.

Working with your Regional Sales Manager you will consistently deliver the activity model delivering the required standards for customer visits, quote production and order intake.

The successful candidate will demonstrate energy, passion and drive for success whilst demonstrating the highest levels of professionalism internally and externally.

All activities, customer interactions, opportunities, leads and pipeline will be managed within the Company CRM application.
