Luke started TRC Group in 2012 with an unwavering motivation to create a brand that broke away from the exhausted mould littered throughout the Industry. Clients and candidates alike were immediately receptive to a more contemporary brand dedicated to offering bespoke recruitment
His introduction to sales was at an earlier age than most and after joining Unicom as a 16 year old he was the top performing Sales Representative (420 reps nationwide) which duly earnt him a promotion to Branch Manager (notably the youngest in the companies history).
He was quickly presented with an opportunity to join HBOS as an Internal Recruiter and his natural flair for the industry was an immediate realisation. His instant success didn’t go unnoticed and he was headhunted only a year later to join Search Consultancy in 2007. During his 3 year tenure with the company he made his name in the Construction and Trades Sector.
In 2009 Luke was approached by a start-up business (Langley Scott) to lead their business development drive with a specific focus on large contracts. Incentivised with a Directorship and subsequent shares Luke delivered results in a rather typical fashion and fulfilled his potential, not only continuing his own personal delivery but growing the business from 3 to 30 employees in that time.
Luke sold his shares and left the business in 2012 with a dream to build his own business aligned with his beliefs and ideologies. Today TRC operates across several specialist sectors ranging from entry level/graduate hires all the way to C Suite appointments. The business has successful Branches in both Leeds and Manchester
with plans to open the London Branch later in 2018.
